Nordoff-Robbins is a music therapy charity, the largest in the UK, delivering music therapy to a wide range of clients across the UK, comprising some of the most vulnerable people in society. The organisation trains music therapists. Nordoff-Robbins’ tutors are all specialists in the field of music therapy and are armed with a deep understanding of the Nordoff-Robbins approach. The Master of Music Therapy course offered is a two-year, masters-level programme which emphasises practical, collaborative music making, and one of a handful of Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)-approved qualifications that allow graduates to register as a music therapist. The PhD programme allows participants to undertake practice-based research and is designed for seasoned practitioners in either music therapy or community music. There are also short courses on offer for anyone who is interested in the Nordoff-Robbins approach.
