The Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) was founded in 2001 under the auspices of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). HKCC is a self-financed post-secondary institution under the College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE). The college offers Associate Degree (AD) and Higher Diploma (HD) programmes spanning the domains of arts, science, social sciences, business, and niche areas such as design and health studies for secondary school leavers. The college’s courses are administered by the four Academic Divisions of CPCE. HKCC’s mission is to offer quality sub-degree programmes that meet the changing needs of the community and equip graduates to pursue further studies or career development. Programmes are mainly conducted on the PolyU Hung Hom Bay and PolyU West Kowloon Campuses, both of which offer state-of-the-art facilities.
