The BA in philosophy with a concentration in morality, politics and law combines the basic analytical approaches of philosophy with an emphasis on the moral questions that arise in political theory and law. The foundations of political and legal systems are moral values, such as individual liberty, equality and justice. These are contested values, open to different understandings of their nature and implications.
Global Experience
Students can explore the diverse range of cultures and philosophies around the globe. With over 250 unique programs, students can tailor their study abroad experience to their interests and skill sets. Study abroad programs help students gain valuable skills such as problem-solving, communication, adaptability and cultural competency, skills that enhance their resumes.
Career Opportunities/p>
Graduates are prepared for Career Opportunities in law, policymaking and analysis, politics and intelligence work. For example, graduates may find employment with the U.S. Department of State, the Central Intelligence Agency or the United States Department of Justice. The program is excellent preparation for law school.

You’re considered a first-year student if you graduated from a regionally accredited high school or earned your GED, and you never attended college or have fewer than 12 transferable college credit hours.
First-year students must have a 3.00 grade point average (GPA) (a "B" or better where "A"=4.00) from a secondary school.
English proficiency
TOEFL iBT (internet-based test) - the minimum score is 61 (iBT)
TOEFL pBT (paper-based test) - minimum score is 57
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - The overall band score requirement for the academic test is at least 6.0.
Pearson Test of English (PTE) - ASU requires a score of at least 53.
Duolingo English test - minimum score of 95.
Application deadline: Spring - November 1; Fall - May 1.
