¿Qué aprenderé?

The Department of Clinical Sciences offers MS research programs in disciplines in the department, including cancer biology, epidemiology, musculoskeletal biology, pharmacology, cardiology, microbiology, and immunology. A DVM degree is not required for entry into the program. There are two typical study tracks for MS candidates in the department. Track 1 (Clinical MS program): Students enrolled in this program are typically post-DVM students who are concurrently pursuing residency training programs. Most students on this track will complete a plan B (non-thesis) master's degree. Track 2 (Research MS program): Students enrolled in this program may or may not have a DVM degree, and most will complete a plan A (thesis required) master's degree. These students will typically be supported in the laboratory of one of the faculty members in the department. Prospective students are urged to contact the directors of specific laboratories regarding availability of MS training positions and openings.
