The Master of Education in TESOL program is designed to prepare experienced teachers with critical knowledge, skills, and dispositions in action research, professional development, and leadership to work effectively with English learners in both local and global contexts.

Career Opportunities

Through the coursework and field experiences, teacher candidates have the opportunity to apply their learning in their own classrooms. Additional instructional opportunities will also be provided for those interested in working in community-based instructional settings. Potential careers include: K-12 teaching; university-level intensive English programs; community college English programs; teaching English abroad.
