The Joint Undergraduate-Master’s Program (JUMP) allows high achieving undergraduate students to begin working on the M.S. in Recreation & Sport Administration (RSA) while completing a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management.
Students pursuing an undergraduate degree in Sport Management may enroll in graduate courses as an undergraduate student (paying undergraduate tuition) and count up to 12 graduate hours toward both degrees.
The M.S. in Recreation & Sport Administration includes 33 credit hours.
The following RSA graduate courses have been identified as possible JUMP replacements for Recreation Administration and Sport Management undergraduate courses:
RSA 513 Recreation & Sport Administration
RSA 515 Recreation & Sport Facility Development
RSA 517 Legal Issues in Recreation & Sport
RSA 519 Fiscal Practices in Recreation & Sport
RSA graduate certificate program courses or REC 400G courses.
Facility and Event Management - online certificate
Intercollegiate Athletic Administration - online certificate
Nonprofit Administration - online certificate
REC 400G courses (e.g. 420G, 424G, 430G, 434G, 482G)

We have rolling admission, which means we can admit students to WKU close to the start of each semester; however, we recommend that students apply at least two months before the start of their semester to ensure they have enough time to receive an I-20, student visa, housing, and scholarship information.
