This certificate focuses on expanding the student's knowledge and understanding in the areas of forensics and threat detection techniques and processes. Courses in the certificate provide an understanding of types of information and data threats, as well as analyzing those threats and conducting forensic investigations post-attack. The primary goal of this certificate program is to support IT/CS professionals seeking to specialize in threat detection and forensic aspects of cybersecurity.
This cybersecurity certificate program is intended for computer science, information technology, information security and related experienced professionals with the goal of expanding their understanding of cybersecurity policies, practices, methods and related technology advancements within the discipline. This certificate program is NOT intended for students without an undergraduate degree and/or professional experience in these disciplines.

Applicants considered for admission to graduate studies at Webster University must hold an earned baccalaureate degree from an accredited educational institution recognized by Webster University, and meet all program admission standards.
