OVERVIEW
For students interested in beginning or advancing a career in healthcare, this program equips you for employment in organizations such as ambulatory care facilities, residential healthcare settings, group practices, health maintenance companies, community health settings, government agencies, and hospitals. You will learn about the current legal and ethical standards in healthcare and study the factors affecting healthcare management, including government policies, human resource and material management, and capital investment.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE
Core Courses
Core courses provide an in-depth exploration of the liberal arts that expands your critical thinking and analytical skills, increases your knowledge, and develops your intellect.
Electives
Students select elective credits from DAUS course offerings in consultation with their advisor.
Concentrations
Students can choose concentrations in Community Health/Healthcare Advocacy and Long-Term Care.
Internships
Earn academic credit while gaining industry experience. Work with coaches at the Wasserman Center to learn how to land an internship that will let you put what you have learned in the classroom into action.
Capstone
Work in close consultation with a faculty advisor on a senior thesis or project in your field of study.

Bachelor's degree applicants who do not hold a U.S. associate degree are required to submit international high school transcript and a course-by-course transcript evaluation from one of our approved agencies.
Applicants who did not complete a high school diploma or Associate's degree at an institution where the medium of instruction is English are required to submit TOEFL/IELTS scores. The recommended TOEFL score is 100, and the recommended IELTS score is 7.0.
