The Bachelor of Science (BS) in electrical engineering will prepare you for diverse, high-paying career options in avionics, process control systems, information processing and many others. You’ll have access to some of the best technology and facilities in the country and the chance to work and research with faculty and professionals on campus and throughout Kansas’ center of industry.
Curriculum
You’ll start by developing a solid background in math, science and general engineering and you’ll be involved in design throughout the program. As a senior, you’ll work on a two-semester project, giving you real-world experience and preparing you for a professional career or for an advanced engineering degree.
Applied Learning
Students in the Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering program are required to complete an applied learning or research experience to graduate from the program. The requirement can be met by completing the two capstone design experiences consisting of EE 585 and EE 595.
