What Will I Learn?

The interdisciplinary biochemistry major provides students with a more in-depth foundation in chemistry, including advanced coursework in biochemistry, organic chemistry and physical chemistry. Independent research is also required of students in this major.

Students planning on graduate studies, medical or professional training, or research careers often choose this major for its thorough training in two areas of science.

SUNY Plattsburgh is a first-rate liberal arts college that provides students not only with the breadth of a liberal arts degree but with a solid foundation in the biological sciences and cognate subjects.
