Students in the sculpture explore a wide range of approaches to sculpture production. Our program recognizes the broad diversity of styles, techniques, and independent conceptual visions that define the field of contemporary sculpture.
We focus on developing work that is broadly based, both in concept and execution. Our course offerings hone your conceptual skills as well as aesthetic and technical proficiency through projects such as site-specific installation, bronze casting and hot glass fabrication.

After your foundation year, this program guides you through a series of independent studios and ceramics intensives. You must complete 77–80 studio credits for your major, plus 45–46 academic credits.
