Program Description
Anthropology–"the study of people"–offers an integrated and transformative exploration of human biology and culture, of past and present, and of simple and complex lifeways. Designed to provide students with a comprehensive, integrated, and interdisciplinary social science background, CCSU's anthropology program prepares students for a range of careers in a variety of fields.

English language proficiency requirement: Applicants whose native language is not English are required to demonstrate their English proficiency by submitting one of the following.
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Internet: minimum score of 79
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Computer: minimum score of 213
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Paper: minimum score of 550
The International English Language Testing System Exam (IELTS) is also accepted. A minimum band score of 6.5 is required for admissions consideration.
Duolingo English Exam minimum score of 95
Application deadline: April 1 for the fall semester and November 1 for the spring semester
