Our Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology with a Concentration in Child Advocacy merges a liberal arts foundation with the specialized study of child development, child advocacy, community psychology and other critical issues. What You'll Learn

In the BA in Applied Psychology Child Advocacy program, you will explore the psychological principles, theories and research pertaining to the developing child from conception through early adolescence. You will cultivate the necessary knowledge to work as a child advocate by examining factors such as domestic violence, crime prevention, delinquency and substance abuse.

Students must have completed high school.

Para estudiantes internacionales

Applicants must have completed a strong high school curriculum and demonstrated achievement in college preparatory classes. They are not required to provide standardized test (SAT or ACT) scores, but it is highly recommended for admission.

Your high school transcripts should indicate at least:

Three years of mathematics (four recommended); and

Three years of science (four recommended).

Students whose home language is not English are considered to have demonstrated English language proficiency if they have done any of the following:

Taken an Internet-based TOEFL (iBT) with an earned score of at least 79, an IELTS with an earned score of at least 6.0, a PTE Academic with an earned score of at least 58, a Cambridge English: Advanced with an earned score of at least 180 (Grade of C), an official Florida Tech TOEFL (paper based) with an earned score of at least 550.
