What You’ll Learn

The ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering, B.S. program grounds you in the design and development of mechanical systems, structures, thermo-fluid systems, aerospace systems, advanced transportation, and energy systems through state-of-art technology and experiences.

The aerospace concentration provides a focus on aircraft and space vehicle design. Your courses emphasize material capabilities, production, and propulsion and are engineered to help you meet the changing priorities of the aerospace industry.

Your curriculum incorporates many design projects, ensuring you have work-ready competence upon graduation. You’ll gain additional learning experiences from our Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation Center, engineering clubs (ASME, SAE, NSBE), and undergraduate research opportunities alongside faculty members as part of our Undergraduate Research & Entrepreneurial Program (UREP)..

To be considered for admission to New York Institute of Technology, you must have satisfactorily completed high school (secondary school) with at least a B average or a 3.00 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.00 scale.

The following minimum scores required for full admission to undergraduate are:

Pearson PTE score: 53
