Politics majors can choose to focus their studies on political theory, taking courses that cover constitutionalism, American and Christian political thought, and modern political thought. Students in this track are expected to take classes from a wide range of disciplines in order to achieve a solid foundation in the liberal arts.

International students applying to Catholic University must have successfully completed a university preparatory course of study at a secondary school (a minimum of 12 years of primary and secondary school training comprising the equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma).

Acceptable Test Scores

TOEFL - 80 Internet (should have at least 20 out of 30 in each category); 150 Paper; 213 Computer.

IELTS - 6.5 (individual test module scores are also reviewed in addition to the overall score to ensure proficiency)

Duolingo - 105

PTE - 58

Application deadline for Fall semester (Sept. to Dec.): Nov. 1 - Early Action and Early Decision I application deadline; Feb. 1 - Regular Decision and Early Decision II application deadline.
