The Associate in Arts in Economics for Transfer Degree is designed to prepare the student for transfer to four-year institutions of higher education and is specifically designed to satisfy the lower division requirements for a Baccalaureate Degree in Economics at a California State University. The knowledge and skills offered in this degree in the field of economics include topics and issues related to global, national, and local aspects of the field of study.
Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to critically analyze and evaluate economic decision-making and economic policies.

Students under 18 years of age may apply, provided High School completion certificate is submitted prior to first semester of attendance.
TOEFL iBT score minimum 45, or IELTS band score of minimum 4.5; or Duolingo Test minimum of 75 - if English is not your first language of instruction; Cambridge English score of minimum 154.
Application Deadline: July 10 for Fall Semester; December 10 for Spring Semester and April 15 for the Summer Session.
