The Associate in Arts in Art History for Transfer Degree is designed to prepare the student for transfer to four-year institutions of higher education and is specifically intended to satisfy lower division requirements for a baccalaureate degree in Art History at a California State University. The knowledge and skills offered in this degree lead students to develop foundational knowledge in the field of art history including those topics and issues related to global, national, and local aspects of the field of study.
Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to identify major topics, developments, debates, and issues of art history; apply their knowledge of key concepts in art history to discuss, analyze, and synthesize a variety of theoretical and practical foci within the discipline; and gain a global, national, and local perspective on issues pertaining to art history preparing them for multiple pathways to future study and career opportunities.

High School transcripts and Diploma; minimum of 2.0 or "C" grade point average, if transferring directly from a U.S.-based College or University.
Students under 18 years of age may apply, provided High School completion certificate is submitted prior to first semester of attendance.
TOEFL iBT score minimum 45, or IELTS band score of minimum 4.5; or Duolingo Test minimum of 75 - if English is not your first language of instruction; Cambridge English score of minimum 154.
Application Deadline: July 10 for Fall Semester; December 10 for Spring Semester and April 15 for the Summer Session.
