Housed in the Department of Educational Psychology, Leadership and Higher Education, the Advanced Graduate Certificate in Mixed Methods Research (MMR) is intended for researchers and practitioners in education and across social science fields to understand mixed methods approaches and become able to successfully conduct MMR in their respective fields. This certificate is well-suited for current and future doctoral students seeking to enhance their professional skills and training.

Students with a Master's Degree are eligible to apply for the MMR Certificate. Applicants must already have foundational knowledge prior to applications, by either having completed: EPY 702 and EPY 721, or equivalent.

English Proficiency:

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - Minimum score: 6.5; Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): (Paper-based) - Minimum score: 74; (Computer-based) - Minimum score: 213; (Internet-based) - Minimum score: 80; Michigan Test of English Language Placement (MTELP) - Minimum score: 85; Pearson Test of English (PTE) - Minimum score: 65
