This course is for you if you’d like to work as a clinical supervisor for clinical practitioners delivering low-intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) interventions to children and young people in NHS and/or school settings.
You will gain the knowledge and skills needed for your role, and to ensure safe and ethical practice. The course combines academic study with a clinical placement and experience of supervision.
This course is offered in partnership with the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, providing a range of mental health services across the South of England.

On successful completion of this course, you will be able to work as a clinical supervisor for people delivering low-intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) interventions for children and young people.
On this course, you will gain the right balance of knowledge, skills, and clinical experience to secure employment within the mental health field in NHS services or Local Authority Mental Health Support teams.
We have strong links with child and adolescent mental health services providers across the South of England and are regularly approached to promote job opportunities to our students.
