Applicants are required to have one of the following qualifications: GCE A Levels with grades AAB to BBB, including one of the following subjects—Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Maths, Human Biology, Psychology, Sport Science, Sport Studies, Sociology, Physics, or PE. Alternatively, a BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma with grade DDM in Applied Science, Applied Human Biology, Applied Psychology, Health and Social Care, or most variations of Sport is acceptable. A BTEC Level 3 National Diploma with grade DM in a relevant subject is also accepted when combined with an A Level at grade B in any subject. A BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate with a Distinction in a relevant subject must be accompanied by two A Levels at grades BC. The International Baccalaureate Diploma is accepted with 30 points, including 5 at Higher Level in a relevant subject such as Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Maths, Physics, Human Biology, Psychology, Sport Science, Sociology, or PE. Applicants must also have GCSE English equivalent at Standard Level 5 or Higher Level 4 and Mathematics at Standard Level 2 or Higher Level 2. Access to HE Diploma holders must achieve a minimum of 120 UCAS tariff points in Bioscience, Health, Health and Human Science, Forensic Science, Nutrition, Psychology, Science, or Sport, with 45 credits at Level 3. T Levels with an overall Merit in Health or Science are also acceptable. In all cases, applicants must have five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including English Language and Mathematics.
