Applicants must meet one of the following qualification routes: GCE A Levels with grades AAB to BBB, including at least one of the following subjects—Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Maths, Human Biology, Psychology, Sport Science, Sport Studies, Sociology, Physics, or PE. BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma with grade DDM is accepted if in Applied Science, Applied Human Biology, Applied Psychology, Health and Social Care, or most Sport-related pathways. BTEC Level 3 National Diploma with grade DM in the same subjects is also acceptable when combined with an A Level at grade B in any subject. Alternatively, BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate with a Distinction in a relevant subject must be accompanied by two A Levels at grades BC. An International Baccalaureate Diploma with 30 points is accepted, including 5 at Higher Level in a relevant subject such as Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Maths, Physics, Human Biology, Psychology, Sport Science, Sociology, or PE, along with GCSE English equivalent at Standard Level 5 or Higher Level 4 and Mathematics at Standard Level 2 or Higher Level 2. Applicants may also qualify with a minimum of 120 UCAS tariff points from an Access to HE Diploma in subjects such as Bioscience, Health, Health and Human Science, Forensic Science, Nutrition, Psychology, Science, or Sport, with 45 credits at Level 3. T Levels with a Merit overall in Health or Science are also accepted. In all cases, five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above are required, including English Language and Mathematics.
