This HND (Top-up) in Sport and Exercise Science will build on students' previous experience and is designed for those wishing to enter the field of sports, exercise science and coaching, and is geared towards a career in the fast growing sports industry. It also builds on the relationship between theory and the practical application of sports coaching.A key part of the course is the application of theory which can be utilised throughout various coaching placements. Students gain valuable, practical experience in areas such as performance analysis, talent identification, sports rehabilitation and the application of sports coaching, which makes this an exciting and worthwhile course. Note: Students will be required to purchase personal equipment e.g. clothing and books.
