Students will develop as independent learners and critical thinkers through self reflection, directed research and study activities, project development and work-based analysis and evaluation. Core and optional module selection prepares students to work with and support the development of individuals in meeting their own potential through a wide range of employment settings. You will obtain an excellent stepping stone to careers in sport-related fields as well as a range of skills valued by all graduate employers. St Mary’s has a long tradition of excellence in sport-related degrees and the Sport and Exercise Science programme is endorsed by the British Association of Sport and Exercise Scientists (BASES). The degree also enjoys strong links with the English Institute of Sport (EIS) and UK Athletics, both with a presence on campus.
