You may register on this programme as either a part-time or full-time student. Most MPhill students would expect to upgrade to PhD registration within 18 to 24 months. Completion of the PhD would be expected to take on average 3 years (full-time) and 5 to 6 years (part-time).

Practitioners wishing to formalise their knowledge and practical experience often see a research degree as an ideal way of doing this.
