Course Overview

The Practical and Pastoral Theology pathway offers the opportunity for students to engage with a range of issues in the field of practical theology which emerge from and relate to the practice of pastoral ministry in a variety of settings. This pathway will be of particular interest to any engaged in pastoral ministry and enables thoughtful, critical exploration of a range of issues in twenty-first century pastoral ministry.

The core unit for this pathway is PT7620 Models of Theological Reflection, which offers a foundation for sophisticated reflective practice. Other units in this pathway are listed below, and students can also choose Elective units from any units on offer at NTC. In addition, full-time and flexible part-time routes make study accessible for everyone – wherever you are in the world!
