IS THIS COURSE FOR ME?

The course provides the knowledge, skills and experience to excel within a health care setting. Incorporating the latest thinking and practical expertise, it offers a broad-based grounding in the principles of Health & Social Care. Develop your knowledge through valuable work experience, combined with theoretical study. Students complete two placements, with 250 hours of work experience developing a range of work-based skills and an insight into the industry.

How will I be assessed?

The Foundation Degree programme is assessed through a variety of methods, from written assignments to course work.

What can I progress onto?

Alumni students have progressed to positions with the NHS and in private hospitals, social services, family centres and childrens homes.
