The Graphic design and illustration degree utilises visual communication as a means of problem solving for clients, firstly through the development of personal style and process before tapering this individuality into more industry ready skillset. At the ‘Hull School of Art and Design’ there are many creative opportunities for visual experimentation and students are encouraged to develop their own interests and strengths before ultimately becoming industry aware, ready and capable of succeeding in the creative sector.Students will begin to create a portfolio of skills and final pieces which will showcase individuality and flair, whilst understanding the professional requirements of the visual communication industries. The programme looks to nurture visual problem solving through the use of creative drawing and thinking, digital manipulation and experimentation for both the fields of graphic design and illustration.
