The aims of the Pearson BTEC Higher Nationals in Computing are:

All of the modules on this course are compulsory and worth either 15 or 30 credits.
- Successful completion of all of the units in the first year is worth a total of 120 credits at Level 4 and equivalent to a Higher National Certificate.
- Successful completion of all of the units in the second year is also worth a total of 120 credits and will lead to the award of a Level 5 Higher National Diploma.
