To be considered for admission to a master's degree programme at the University of Bristol, the minimum requirement for entry is an undergraduate (bachelor’s) degree that is equivalent to a UK upper second-class degree (also known as a 2:1). A CGPA of 3.2 or above is considered equivalent to a UK upper second-class degree. Students need to have an IELTS 6.0 overall with either listening or speaking at 6.5, with no skill below 6.0.

MPhil: An upper second-class degree or international equivalent. Please note, acceptance will also depend on evidence of your readiness to pursue a research degree. IELTS: 6.5 with 6.5 in all skills; TOEFL iBT: 88 overall with R22, L21, S23, W2.
