This will prepare you to undertake fieldwork in communities in Bristol and further afield. In your first year you will take a series of units introducing you to social, linguistic and biological anthropology and anthropological approaches to material culture. In your second year you can choose from a range of optional units on specific themes and geographical regions. The third year provides an opportunity to pursue a specialist area of interest, working closely with a member of staff to write a dissertation on an original topic of your choice.
