A programme aimed at those students who see themselves working in the world of insurance, financial or governmental services, where actuarial mathematics plays a key role.We have accreditation from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, the professional body for actuaries in the UK. Currently, our students can receive exemptions for CT1, CT2, CT3, CT4, CT5, CT6, CT7 and CT8 of the professional actuarial exams.This programme is available with a Year in China. The Year in China allows undergraduate students the opportunity to spend one year at our joint venture, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), following XJTLU's BA China Studies degree classes. XJTLU is a fully English-speaking university, located in Suzhou. If you wish to study this programme with a Year in China please put the option code YC in the Further Choices section of your UCAS application form.

Students need at least three Group A APs at grades four or above. They must also have High School Diploma with a GPA of 3.0 or above PLUS either SAT I Reasoning Test at 1290+ (minimum Math Section 620+ Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 660+) or ACT Composite Score at 27 or above. Some of our courses will require SAT Subject Tests / APs in specific areas. Admissions criteria will vary depending on the course they have applied for and the specified grades provide general guidance only.
