The Master of Clinical Tropical Medicine is established to train medical graduates to become extensively proficient and skillful in clinical tropical medicine and research on tropical diseases, cultivate attitudes and skills in both fundamental and clinical researches being conducted with responsibilities in them and consideration on rights of research participants in line with widely recognized ethical standards for research.

Applicants must hold Bachelor degree or any equivalent degree, or be studying in the final year in Bachelor program, in related program and have a minimum grade point average of 2.50. English Language Requirements: TOEFL ITP score of at least 480, TOEFL Internet-based score of 54 or IELTS score of 5 or MU GRAD TEST score of 60.

There are two plans of the study programme

The applicant is required to:
Plan A:

  • Holding a Medical degree (M.D. or M.B.B.S. or equivalent degrees) with cumulative GPA not less than 3.0 and be a qualified registered medical practitioner who practices for more than 3 years, with recommendation and confirmation documents, or
  • 2. Graduated in Diploma of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (D.T.M.&H.) or other equivalent diploma degrees within 5 years

Plan B:

The applicant is required to:

  • Holding a Medical degree (M.D. or M.B.B.S. or equivalent degrees) with cumulative GPA not less than 2.7 and be a qualified registered medical practitioner who practices for more than 1 year, with recommendation and confirmation documents, or
  • 2. Graduated in Diploma of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (D.T.M.&H.) or other equivalent diploma degrees within 5 years
  • Have a TOEFL ITP score of at least 480, TOEFL Internet-based score of 54 or IELTS score of 5 or MU GRAD TEST score of 60.
