Applicants must have obtained the following qualification: GCE 'O' Levels, relevant Institute of Technical Education Higher NITEC (ITC/CBS) qualifications, or relevant Institute of Technical Education NITEC (NTC2) qualifications (with minimum GCE 'N' Level qualifications). A 'B' average overall would be minimally sufficient for candidates to make a competitive application. those from Integrated Programme (IP) Schools in Singapore who have completed the equivalent of Sec 4 as well as those who have graduated from IP schools can be considered for admission; eligibility is similar to GCE 'O' level; for those who have completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma, the entry requirements are minimum Grade 4 for English (1st Lang) except for Creative Writing for Television and New Media and Media and Communication courses where a Grade 5 (1st Lang) is required, minimum Grade 5 for Mathematics, minimum Grade 5 for relevant subject, overall aggregate should be at least 22 (based on 5 subjects including English, Mathematics and relevant subject); or equivalent qualification. Students from other countries should have country specific requirements equivalent to Singapore. Also they must fulfill the following English language requirements: TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based); or IELTS (International English Language Testing System - overall minimum 6.0; for China qualifications 6.0 is also required for reading and speaking components), or passes English language entrance test.
