This programme provides learners with the tools to secure an Electricity Supply Electrical Apprenticeship, Industrial Electrical Apprenticeship, or as a pathway into further study to become a qualified electrician.
This hands-on 32-week programme sets you up to enter the electrical industry as an entry-level employee.
Land a job as Electricity Supply Electrical Apprentice or an Industrial Electrical Apprentice or pathway into further study and become a qualified electrician. The course is pre-entry foundation knowledge of electrical engineering and is suitable for those who wish to enter the industry and who do not yet have electrical apprenticeship agreement.
In this course you’ll get to wire a sleepout, work on a two-bedroom house, can carry out a limited range of prescribed electrical work safely and ethically under general supervision of a licensed and registered electrician. This programme is delivered at NZMA's Trades Campus.
