To become a centre of excellence in bio resource and technology through:
Producing quality graduates who are knowledgeable, creative and innovative with entrepreneurship inclination
Enhancing research activities toward using quality technology, product development, process and system in bio industry
Being excellence in consultancy services and bio industry
Being an information reference centre in bio industry and able to play active role in legislation of National Agricultural Policy
The horticulture program provides specialized studies in pomology, vegetable crop, turf, floriculture, ornamental and landscape horticulture as well as sustainable and organic horticulture. Areas of research include crop biotechnology, seed science and technology, propagation, growth and development, crop physiology, mineral nutrition, crop production and post-harvest physiology.

Applicant must have:
A Master’s degree with thesis in a related field; or,
A Master’s degree without thesis in a related field with CGPA of at least 3.500 and at least B+ grade in the project component; or,
Bachelor of Science degree with First Class honors in a related field and CGPA of at least 3.750 or equivalent could be considered.
For applicants with one of the following
550 for the TOEFL Paper-based Test (Academic Version); or
Band 6.0 for IELTS (Academic Training); or
79-80 for TOEFL Internet-based Test (Academic Version); or
Level 109 for CIEP at ELS Language Centre; or
Any English Language Test which is equivalent to B2 in Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
