¿Qué aprenderé?

Faculty of Human Ecology is committed to make an excellence and quality in comprehensive education and integrated in the field of Human Ecology through teaching, research, professional and community services for graduates who recognize and fulfil their responsibilities towards Creator and role of self in the welfare, family, society and environment.

This programme focuses on research in the various fields of music in depth with creative approaches. This program also encourages cross-disciplinary and interdisciplinary research.

The applicant should possess a Bachelor’s degree (with honours) in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.000, or the applicant without sufficient academic qualification can be admitted into the programme subject to any other requirement specified by the Faculty/Institute. An applicant from a local public university who is in the final semester of his undergraduate study programme may be considered for provisional admission provided his current CGPA or its equivalent satisfies the graduate programme admission requirements. English Language Requirements: International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) Band 6.0; Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL), Paper Based - 550; 400 for Band 4.0 only for Malay language, Arabic, Chinese Literature, internet-based test (IBT)- 79-80.

Para estudiantes internacionales

Students must have

A Bachelor’s degree in related field of study with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 2.75 or its equivalent.

A CGPA of less than 2.75 but not below 2.50 with relevant working experience of not less than 3 years.

Also eligible for:

An applicant with a good scholastic achievement in the Bachelor degree or its equivalent (subject to specific programme requirements).

An applicant without sufficient academic qualification but possessing evidence of adequate related research or work experience.

A student in the final semester of undergraduate study may apply for provisional admission provided his current CGPA satisfies the programme requirement.

550 for the TOEFL Paper-based Test (Academic Version); or

Band 6.0 for IELTS (Academic Training); or

79-80 for TOEFL Internet-based Test (Academic Version); or

Level 109 for CIEP at ELS Language Centre
