Electronics is a broad engineering field, giving students enormous flexibility and wide-ranging career options. The Diploma in Technology (Electronics Engineering) will focus on applying basic concepts and skills to real-world situations and developing broad-based knowledge with a curriculum that includes electronic devices, communications, automation and control, software engineering and embedded systems.

Students are required to complete international academic qualification equivalent to Malaysian high school (i.e. SPM); O Level/IGCSE with minimum 3 Grade C(c) in the relevant subjects or other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.
International students must meet any one of the following English Language tests recognized by TAR UC as meeting the English Language requirement before they are accepted for admission to any of the TAR UC programmes.

TOEFL iBT: 31
MUET: Band 3.0
Pearson Test of English: 36
Cambridge English (Linguaskill): 140
Or any other qualification which is of equivalent level as determined by the Senate of TAR UC.
