The Bachelor in Accounting and Finance (Hons) provide students with a specialised education in and understanding of the legal, business and social environments in which accountancy and finance operates. It also enables students to be conversant in the technical languages and practices of the accounting and finance sector in a market economy. These include measurement and disclosure in financial statements, managerial accounting, auditing, taxation and corporate finance.
Difference between accounting and finance
Accounting and finance are related fields.
The main difference between the two is that accounting looks at the day to day flow of money that comes in and goes out of an organization. Finance refers to the management of assets and liabilities as well as the planning future growth of the organization.
That said, for most real world professions, these two go hand in hand. It is good to have a handle on both, as doing so will open up more job opportunities and career advancements.

Students must have a successful completion of
GCE A Levels : 3 Ds
STPM :3 C+ or CGPA 2.33
UEC :5 Credits inclusive a Credit in Mathematics
Diploma : Pass with min. CGPA of 2.50
Foundation Studies : Pass with min. CGPA of 2.50
In addition to the above mentioned requirement, the student must have obtained a Credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.
English Requirement:
Band 5.5 in IELTS; or a min score of 46 (IBT) or 454 (PBT) in TOEFL ; or score 51 and above for Pearson English Test
