The Philosophy (MA) program provides a terminal degree for those who wish to pursue philosophy up to, but not beyond, master's work. While the University of Manitoba doesn’t offer a doctoral program, the master’s program provides a solid background for those who wish to study beyond the master’s level at another academic institution.
The Department of Philosophy offers programs of study leading to a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy.
