This five-year, two-degree option provides an opportunity for students to study business and nutrition. The business component focuses on the study and practice of entrepreneurship, a dynamic way of thinking and acting that capitalizes on opportunities with innovation to create value and solve problems. The nutrition component focuses on food and nutrition science, the food industry, food safety, and includes the development of new food products, eco-friendly packaging, and health-related initiatives.Students in the BBA in Entrepreneurship with BSc in Human Nutrition pathway learn by doing. Students develop business plans for ventures of their own interest, participate in local and provincial pitch events, complete funded entrepreneurial internships, earn summer research grants, and benefit from start-up veterans, alumni mentors, and student entrepreneurs in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.You will learn knowledge and skills related to new business modelling and innovative design, start-up data analysis, financial analysis, and the dynamic communication needed to launch a start-up or work in a new, growing venture. In addition, you will learn the theory and practice of nutrition with its scientific inquiry and evidence-based practice.

English 12, Math 12, and three one other university preparatory coursesStudents who complete the International Baccalaureate IB Diploma with a minimum score of 24 will be considered for admission.Minimum grade requirement for any subject is 3. Students can submit predicted or anticipated results for early fall admission and scholarship purposes.For high school students the minimum admission requirements include an overall average of 70 percent in Grade 12 with no grade below 65 percent in each of the required subjects Admissions to limited enrolment programs is competitive meeting the minimum average does not guarantee admission.Please note students who are currently in grade 12 applying for early admission must have the program requirements in grade 11 and be registered in the program prerequisites in grade 12 to be eligible for an early offer Otherwise offers will be made after receipt of final first term grade 12 transcript.
