¿Qué aprenderé?

A degree as unique as you are – get credit for tailoring your interests , exploring courses in neuroscience, emotional intelligence, sexuality, anxiety, health, development, language impairment, perception, and memory.

Psychology is the study of human behaviour, the brain, and the mind. More than that, it is an examination of how and why people act, think, and feel the way they do. At Trent, Psychology students dive into diverse topics, from personality and child development, to abnormal psychology and neuroscience, and beyond. No matter your area of interest, you will work closely with faculty who are devoted to teaching and research, and create opportunities for interactive, experiential learning for students to strengthen their knowledge and professional skills related to understanding ourselves.

  • Undertake an independent research thesis or practicum and work one-on-one with award-winning faculty
  • Work through real-life scenarios with case studies that explore advanced abnormal psychology, substance-related disorders or educational psychology

Student must complete High School diploma (or equivalent) qualification.

English Language Proficiency Tests:

  • TOEFL: minimum score of 86 IBT with a minimum writing score of 20 OR 580 PBT with a minimum TWE score of 4.5.
  • IELTS: minimum score of 6.5, with no band below 6.0
  • CAEL: minimum score of 60
  • Cambridge B2 First, C1 Advanced/C2 Proficiency (Certificate of Advanced English): 176, with no sub-score below 169
  • Pearson PTE Academic: minimum score of 59
