Program objectives: The objective of the technique is to teach students the physical, material and pedagogical management of a childcare service. Graduates will be able to ensure safety and assess the needs of the child. They will be able to maintain a working climate favorable to the evolution and development of the child on several levels (psychological, educational, psychomotor, cognitive, linguistic, social, affective and moral). They will be able to work in partnership with their colleagues, parents and community partners.
According to government regulations, educators must hold a first aid certificate.
Program highlights:
Following graduation, students will be able to manage the physical, material and educational organization of the daycare service. They will be able to make interventions related to the overall development, integration, basic care, safety and well-being of the child. They would also be able to manage human and financial resources.
Students who have obtained this diploma will be able to work for childcare centres, daycare centres, family and school childcare services.
