The Business School will be offering a variety of delivery modes for new students in all programs. These can include, asynchronous learning, synchronous learning, hybrid, and on-campus deliveries, including evenings and weekends.Human Resources involves developing policies, procedures and programs to ensure an organization has an adequate number of people with the right knowledge, skills and abilities to achieve its objectives. When HR is aligned with the strategic goals and objectives of an organization, it becomes a strategic partner in the management of the organization, ensuring the best pool of talent to pioneer, compete and be at the top of its field. Centennial Colleges unique approach incorporates current trends in human resources, the affirmation of diversity and human rights and the promotion of positive union and management relations. You will develop expertise in all major areas of human resources such as: Human Resource Planning, Staffing, Recruitment and Selection, Training and Development, Compensation, Employee and Labour Relations, Occupational Health and Safety, Management Accounting, and Human Resource Management Systems. The program emphasizes the ability to analyze and interpret financial and accounting information for decision-making purposes. Legal issues are covered from a proactive, rather than compliance, perspective. Finally, the use of integrated human resource systems software and computer skills to manage information and support decision-making is taught.This unique Business School program will offer you the opportunity to acquire three designations:

Academic Requirements

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or mature student status (19 years or older)
  • Grade 12 English (C or U), or equivalent (minimum grade required), or take the Centennial English Admission Test
  • Grade 11 Mathematics (C, M, or U) or Grade 12 Mathematics (C or U), or equivalent (minimum grade required), or take a Centennial College Math Skills Assessment for Admission

English Language Requirements:

  • A TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or 80+ (internet based with no test below 20)
  • IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0+ (with no single test score below 5.5)
  • CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language Assessment) with an overall band score of 60
  • Pearson Test of English (Academic) score of 51 plus
  • ITEP (International Test of English Proficiency) score of 3.7 plus.
