We have expertise in the application of regulatory theory and equitable doctrine to contemporary legal issues. Our scholars with extensive experience in financial services and capital markets will give students the skills required to practice as commercial lawyers. Topics explored include company law, corporate finance, due diligence, insolvency, competition law, and the Corporations Act. Crucially, we bring a deep concern about social justice and the way that law impacts people in our specific areas of expertise.

Admission to the Master of Laws by Research program requires completion of a recognised Bachelor of Laws degree with an Honours Class 2 (Division 1) or higher. The bachelor's degree should have included a substantial research component, or the equivalent. You must also submit a research proposal to be considered for this program. Admission to the LLM by Research program is subject to appropriate supervision being available.IELTS - 7.0 overall (min 6.0 in each subtest)TOEFL iBT - 94 overall (min. 25 in writing, 23 in reading, listening and speaking)
