Equivalent to Australian Year 12. Completion of MAR50120 Diploma of Marine Engineering [Engineer Class 3 Near Coastal] (AC31) OR [Engineer Watchkeeper Specialist] (AC62) is required for entry into this course.
An IELTS score (Academic) of 7.0 with no band score less than 7.0 or equivalent; Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic – Minimum Level 43; Password score of 5.5; Eiken Grade Pre 1; Successful completion of at least 2 years of study at an acceptable grade in an English medium course completed within the previous 2 years OR GCE O Levels English with 'C'; 'A' or 'B' in Malaysian SPM English or 'C' in 1119 English; Kenyan KCSE English 'C'; International Baccalaureate (IB) Minimum of 3 in English A1 or A2; Completion of the Cambridge First Certificate of English (FCE); Successful completion of English for Academic Purposes (EAP) at Upper Intermediate Level or equivalent at North Metropolitan TAFE or a recognized English college.
