¿Qué aprenderé?

The Graduate Diploma of Business Administration provides you with opportunities to study a broad range of topics relating to aspects of management and business administration. You will develop key competencies crucial for successful business leadership and the management of people and apply these in an emotionally intelligent way. You will also develop knowledge and capabilities related to key business functions of strategy, finance, marketing, organizational and industry structure, operations and business analytics and the legal issues that affect managers, leaders and organizations.

The Graduate Diploma of Business Administration allows articulation into the Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Online option is also available.

COURSE STRUCTURE

You are required to complete a total of eight core units.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AND OUTCOMES

This course prepares you to target employment in the areas of business consultation, or middle to high-level business management.

Completion of a bachelor degree with the equivalent to an Australian pass grade average in the final two terms, from a recognised higher education institution. English requirements: IELTS Academic - 6.0 with no individual band score of less than 5.5; TOEFL Internet-based - Overall score of 75 with no score less than 17; Pearson Test of English Academic - Overall score of 54 with no score less than 46; Cambridge English: C1 Advanced , Cambridge English: C2 Proficiency - Overall test score of 169 (with no individual band score of less than 162).

Para estudiantes internacionales

Prospective students must satisfy at least one of the following criteria to enrol in this course:

  • A completed bachelor degree in any discipline from an Australian university or college or equivalent and three years relevant business or professional experience; or
  • A recognized diploma and three years relevant business or professional experience; or
  • A CQU Graduate Certificate in Business or Management or equivalent from any Australian or equivalent university or college, plus three years of work experience; or
  • A minimum of five years relevant managerial or professional experience.

English requirements

International English Language (IELTS Academic) overall band score of 6.5 (with no individual band score of less than 6.0) will be required for students seeking entry to this course. TOEFL (internet-based) - Overall 75 (with no score less than 17), PTE Academic - Overall 54 (with no score less than 46), CAE and CPE - Overall 169 (with no band less than 162).
