The Graduate Diploma in Music is designed for university graduates in any field who wish to undertake university-level study in music.
In the Graduate Diploma (Tailored Program) you will have the opportunity to develop skills and techniques aligned to your musical interests and vocational aspirations. You will be supported in designing a personalised course of study choosing from a number of subjects that include academic electives, music analysis, composition and performance studies, as well as career preparation subjects designed to develop skills and knowledge in arts administration and management (including an internship).
Upon completion of the Graduate Diploma in Music you may be eligible to apply for masters by coursework or research in Music.

Applicants for the Graduate Diploma in Music (Tailored Program) are required to have:
An undergraduate degree (in any discipline other than music) with a weighted average mark of at least 65% or equivalent;
OR
At least five years of documented professional experience relevant to the specialisation.
English language requirements:
TOEFL – you need a score from a minimum of 577+ including a score of at least 4.5 in the Test of Written English for a paper-based test. Or a score of at least 79 and scores of at least 21 for writing, 18 for speaking, 13 for reading, 13 for listening for an internet-based test.
IELTS – you need a score from a minimum of 6.5 or more in the Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS), with no bands less than 6.0.
Pearson Test of English – you need an overall score from a minimum between 58-64 inclusive and achieve no PTE communicative skills score below 50.
Cambridge English, Advanced/Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) – you need a Cambridge English Score from a minimum 176 with no skill below 169.
