Founded in 1962, Trinity Western University (TWU) is a liberal arts university dedicated to helping students discover meaningful connections between life, career and the needs of society. The university draws upon the Christian tradition and is committed to uniting reason and faith through the pursuit of excellence in teaching, scholarship and research. TWU is authorised by charter by the province of British Columbia to award baccalaureate, master's and doctoral degrees. There are 48 undergraduate and 19 graduate degrees on offer, including a few continuing education, certificate, degree completion and online learning programs. At TWU, students get an opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary study and explore their chosen field, in preparation for a career for which they are fully equipped. TWU’s main campus is in Langley, British Columbia. There are also two campus sites in Richmond, B.C. and the Laurentian Leadership Centre in Ottawa, Ontario.
